Our Story

The Irish Brewery brought a slice of Dublin to Kolkata in 2019, opening its doors on Raja Basanta Roy Road in the vibrant Lake Market area of Kalighat. Founded by a team passionate about craft beer and Irish hospitality, we set out to create a space where Kolkatans could experience authentic Irish pub culture — handcrafted beers brewed on-site, hearty comfort food, live music, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere that defines a true Irish pub.

Our microbrewery produces a rotating selection of craft beers on-site — from crisp lagers and hoppy IPAs to rich stouts and seasonal brews. Each batch is crafted with care using quality malts, hops, and yeast, following traditional brewing methods adapted for Kolkata's climate.

Beyond the beer, our kitchen serves hearty Irish and European fare — think shepherd's pie, fish and chips, beef and Guinness stew, gourmet burgers, and sharing plates perfect for pairing with a pint.
